Instructions on making your own perfume!

      Some prefer a loose fit and some want a tighter fit.  Most of ours are made for a loose fit, especially the chainmaille items.   Howeve, even these often require an adjustment.  If the item you like doesn't show a size that you prefer then please contact us and ask if we can change the length.  If we can change the length we will let you know and we will change it when you make the purchase.

     When measuring your wrist please use a fabric tape and measure at the narrowest place.  Let us know if you want the bracelet to fit looser or tighter.

STEP ONE: Assembled chains are tumbled in a rotary tumbler with stainless steel shot.  This process takes one to three hours but the time is well spent.  The chain will come out of the tumbler with the elimination of sharp edges and a shiny and hardened surface.  The chains will feel smooth to the touch and will be far less likely to snag onto skin and clothing.   Not all chain mail artists put their product through this system.  We provide this so that you have a better product and at no additional cost to you!

STEP TWO is the cleaning process.  All of our chainmaille is cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove wax, oils, and any other dirt that may have been picked up by the wire during the manufacture and assembly.  Not only are silver and copper chains cleaned by this process, but also our chains made from aluminum, coated and enameled copper, brass, titanium, niobium, and stainless steel.  Copper and silver is sometimes put through an additional cleaning to remove tarnish, especially before shipping to the customer.  Therefore, you get the cleanest possible product at no additional cost to you!
